MY GOD, ITS FULL OF QUEERS.
Welcome to The OUTer Film Festival 2K5. With the success of the 2004 film festival, the founder and program director, Timothy Caswell, continued his pursuit to find more unique films and videos made by, for and about members of the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgendered and Questioning community in the genres of science fiction, fantasy and horror. And to his excitement, he found them. So to continue the mission of The OUTer Film Festival, a second annual festival was planned for November 5th of 2005 with a slighted expanded program. Again held at the Hideout Theatre in Austin, Texas, the festival's expanded program contained two short programs and one feature length film. This expanded program included films with titles like: ALIENS CUT MY HAIR, MARS NEEDS BIBLES and TACO CHIC & SALSA GIRL. The 2K5 festival also included a short film written and directed by its founder titled HOOKUP. At the completion of the 2005 festival, The OUTer Film Festival solidified its place amoung the film festival community in Austin and on the planet Earth.
