TELECOMMUNICATING ACROSS THE UNIVERSE.
On November 4th, 2006 from Austin, Texas, The OUTer Gay and Lesbian Science Fiction/Fantasy Film Festival telecommunicates across the Universe its 3rd annual film festival. Continuing on its mission, The festival again exposes strange, new films to the people of Earth as it's founder expands his search for those film-makers who will boldly take us to where few queers have gone before. It is because of this continued mission and search that past film-makers have begun to see greater exposure of thier films and more writers and directors of film have chosen to come out of the closet and bring to the big screen their stories of the fantastic and of science. Films like PANDEMONIUM and LAS ROLLERAS CONTRA DR. SATANICO are to name a few. The 2006 program also included for the first time short films found on the internet. And in the effort to encourage film-makers, The OUTer Film Festival sponsored a short film competition as part of its 2006 programing with the winner being Dex Craig and Paul Jack with their animated short ALONE. The people of Earth have been contacted with the news of OUTer's existance. Lets see what else is out there.
