OUTer. . . A small and unique film festival from the planet Earth.
This is OUTer 2K8, the fifth and final film festival of The OUTer Gay and Lesbian Science Fiction / Fantasy Film Festival ... as it was.
It's 5 year mission, born from a SPACE AGED LOVE* , was to seek out the stories and films made by, for and about gay men and women in the genres of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror; To bring to the people of Earth those films that took an audience to where no queer has gone before; And to confirm and to educate to those individuals who did not believe that the Universe was most certainly FULL OF QUEERS*.
In TELECOMMUNICATING ACROSS THE UNIVERSE* these various films of science, of terrors within and of the fantastic over the years, The OUTer Film Festival, having COME IN PEACE*, found for all those queer space cadets out there, that WE ARE NOT ALONE*.
So The OUTer Film Festival looks towards the future. An unknown and uncertain future, where more fantastic and exciting stories awaite their discovery and exposure. But the love of scifi films from this film festival's founder will remain strong and his dedication to his fellow space cadets steadfast. OUTer, in whatever form it takes, will be OUT THERE, SOMEWHERE.
