FILMMAKERS
OUTer's vision is to bring high-quality gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) films to a starving market. We need you, the filmmakers, writers, directors and producers of film who love scifi and fantasy and wish to see more on the big screen. Whether you are a seasoned film professional or are just picking up a camera for the first time, OUTer can support you. You may download OUTer's call for entries and submission forms, printout and send your submissions to The OUTer Film Festival, P.O. Box 40725, Austin, Texas 78704. (if you have submitted your film for the 2007 festival, your film will still be eligible for consideration for the 2008 festival. If you wish to withdrawal your film, please contact the program director. )

EXPOSURE
From it's creation, the OUTer Film Festival has continued to promote the films it has screened and exhibited at the festival. This will continue as part of OUTer's mission: to promote and expose films exhibited at OUTer's current film festival and to submit to other film festivals as a shorts program containing a collection of science fiction and fantasy films. OUTer will also submit this same collection and possibly others as part of the an annual gay and lesbian science fiction convention known as Gaylaxicon. This is a great way to expose your film.
To participate and to be exposed, please sign the release on the submission form if you wish to allow The OUTer Film Festival to promote your submission film as part of a compilation submitted by OUTer into other film festivals in 2008 festival season.
